Lokesh, started his musical journey from the time when rock and roll ruled the world stage. That was the time when MTV was the rock and roll heaven and every band inspired him to dig deeper. According to him Music is something that simply fascinates him, and as simple as it sounds the thought itself is very profound. He first picked up his guitar at an early age of 13 and never looked back since then. He taught himself through the strings, and eventually his guitar became an extension of his persona and music his medium of expression.

Lokesh’s early days in the music world started as a part of many bands. He was the founder of 'Prestorika', the first ever 'Campus Rock Idols'. Post this he was a part of 'The Pulp Society', a funk rock band based in Mumbai. Suraj, is known for the song ‘Give me some sunshine’.

Eventually after being on the road for a while, Lokesh took some time out to do what really inspired him the most- create music. The two projects that resulted during this time were 'Wine Stains' and 'WAQT'. He has written and composed for both these albums..His versatility as musician can be seen in the brand new rock project 'Stranger Town', where he has collaborated with various singers and created some remarkable music. It was during this time that he got back to his first love, which was rock and metal and he went ahead to create his solo instrumental album.
